Project 9: Portfolio

  • Project Corrections / Time spent: I made minor adjustments to my brochure by adjusting some of alignment, but most of my corrections were actually made on my extra project, the Fox Trot Cafe logo that I originally made for my Intro to Graphic Design class. I ended up scrapping the old logo. I redid the coffee cup to make it look more realistic and gave the tail handle more character. In total, it took about three hours to redo the logo and update my brochure.
  • Message: To portray my skill set to future employers.
  • Audience: Employers.
  • Top Thing Learned: I learned so much about Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, both of which I didn’t really know how to use before this class. Its helped me a lot to figure out how to do specific things I didn’t know how to do before.
  • Future application of Visual Media: A lot of my future will consist of things done in this class. I plan on being a Web/Graphic Designer and I’ll need all the skills I’ve used to design effectively for my future clients.

  1. I think you did amazing on your portfolio! I love your color scheme. And I loved on the front page how you really made your name stand out and also introduced the color scheme in a clean way. I think your project corrections made a huge difference in your portfolio. You should also check out these blogs
