Macro Photography

This last week I tried my hand at macro photography for the first time. Now usually macro lenses cost about the same amount (or more) as your professional camera does, but in this lab that my photography teacher set up for us, we were able to use zoom filters that you screw onto your normal lens that act like a macro lens. This is a much cheaper option and you get a very similar effect! For an amateur like me, it was awesome because I probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a filter and an actual macro lens.

These pictures were taken using a 10x zoom filter.
